Who we are

Downtown Dough is a small team working together to bring delicious and creative cookies to the Capital Region. We started this venture May 2020 midst a pandemic. The owner ended up losing her full time job due to COVID-19. That’s when this idea clicked - lets bake cookies. She baked for over five years prior and thought this cookie craze was genius. Downtown Dough was born.

We strive to differentiate ourselves from others by using all local ingredients sourced from small businesses and farmers. Each cookie is hand-rolled and stuffed to ensure consistency. Although we may be small, we’re growing at a steady and comfortable rate. We are extremely blessed with this wonderful community we have created and look forward to the future.

do you bake out of a commercial kitchen?

Yes. All of our cookies are freshly baked out of a commercial facility located in Upstate, NY. We are fully licensed and insured.

 

are you cookies safe for allergies?

Unfortunately our kitchen is not allergen free at this time. We are working hard to offer alternative options for those with allergens.

hOW LONG DO THE COOKIES STAY FRESH?

Our cookies will stay fresh in packaging up for up to 1 week. We do recommend placing them in the freezer past that point.

 

do you make gluten free products?

At this time, we are not offering gluten-free products. We want to PERFECT the cookie before releasing it. We’re still working on that recipe. Same goes for our future vegan products.

do you offer shipping?

Yes we do! We’re proud to offer nationwide shipping through USPS Priority Mail. Our packages are sent out on Thursdays.

 

How do I order?

Each week, we’ll restock cookies on our website. Atleast 24 hours in advance, we will announce it on Facebook and Instagram. We do sell out quickly so we recommend setting an alarm. Check out our Instagram: @downtowndoughalbany
